The programme is delivered by the Health Innovation Hub (H2i) through the Africa Health Collaborative in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation.

Why This Opportunity Matters

African health innovators often face limited access to early-stage funding and opportunities to showcase their ventures. Pitch Perfect Africa addresses this gap by combining financial support with practical pitch training and exposure to experienced judges and innovation leaders.

For startups working on digital health, medical technologies, community healthcare, diagnostics, health systems, or other health-focused innovations, the competition provides an excellent platform to strengthen investment readiness while expanding professional networks.

How to Strengthen Your Application

Competitive applications should clearly demonstrate the health problem being addressed, the uniqueness of the proposed solution, and the venture’s potential impact across African communities. Applicants should also articulate a compelling value proposition, demonstrate market understanding, and present realistic plans for growth and implementation.

Preparing a strong pitch before submitting the application can significantly improve readiness for both the selection process and the final competition.

Application Deadline

29 September 2026 (11:59 PM Eastern Time)
