About the Consultancy
The Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) Regional Office is expanding its communications capacity to strengthen advocacy campaigns and improve engagement across multiple programmes.
Selected consultants will join a retainer roster, meaning they will be contracted for up to three years and engaged on an as-needed basis depending on project requirements and consultant availability.
This is not a full-time position. Instead, consultants will receive assignments throughout the contract period and will be paid according to the number of days worked.

What You Will Do
Consultants will support communications and advocacy efforts across several flagship programmes and campaigns promoting women’s economic empowerment.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Developing social media content and communication materials
- Writing captions, newsletters, reports, and web content
- Creating graphics using Canva and PowerPoint
- Formatting publications according to UN Women branding standards
- Proofreading and editing communication products
- Managing content schedules and digital publishing calendars
- Coordinating with designers and communication vendors
- Organizing communication assets and shared digital workspaces
- Tracking website and social media analytics
- Preparing summary reports
- Supporting webinars, workshops, conferences, and events
- Assisting with dissemination of campaign materials
- Coordinating internal review and approval processes
- Supporting knowledge-sharing activities and documentation

Required Qualifications
