About the Hivos THRIVE Program
The THRIVE Program, which stands for Promoting an Enabling Environment for Civil Society, aims to support civil society actors across Kenya, Zimbabwe, Colombia and Lebanon.
The programme responds to challenges facing civil society organisations, particularly the shrinking of civic and democratic spaces in different parts of the world.
Through its activities, THRIVE seeks to empower civil society organisations and actors to become more resilient, sustainable and effective while developing stronger environments for collaboration, learning and action.
The programme is built around three interconnected outcomes.
These include creating safe and inclusive spaces for collaboration, strengthening the operational and strategic capacities of civil society actors, and increasing access to knowledge, networks, tools and resources.
