Applications are open for the African Philanthropy Media Fellowship (APMF) Cohort 2. The African Philanthropy Media Fellowship is a 6-week virtual program designed to equip emerging African journalists, content creators, and media practitioners with the skills, knowledge, and networks to tell impact-driven stories and shape narratives on African philanthropy and development.Benefits

  • Build practical, data-driven reporting and storytelling skills.
  • Produce publishable stories amplifying African narratives, actors, and solutions.
  • Gain mentorship, editorial support, and access to publication platforms via Philanthropy Circuit and partner networks.

Eligibility

  • Open to early-career journalists, media practitioners, storytellers and social impact content creators.
  • Applicants should be from Africa.

Application

  • Dates: October 10 – November 21, 2026 (weekly sessions, with some sessions on weekends)
  • Format: 100% Virtual (stable internet connection and computer access required)
  • Submission: Answer all questions and attach links to all requested documents (CV and work samples) to be considered.
