About the THRIVE Programme
The THRIVE Programme is a flagship initiative funded through Sweden’s 2025–2029 Strategy for Support to Civil Society. Rather than focusing solely on institutional funding, THRIVE adopts a comprehensive approach that enables organizations to become stronger, more resilient, and better connected. The programme will support civil society organizations across four countries through collaboration, knowledge exchange, organizational strengthening, and access to regional and global networks.

Programme Objectives
THRIVE is built around three interconnected outcomes that collectively strengthen the enabling environment for civil society.
1. Safe and Inclusive Spaces for Collaboration
The programme will foster environments where civil society organizations can collaborate, exchange ideas, and collectively address civic and governance challenges while promoting inclusion and participation.
2. Stronger Operational and Strategic Capacity
Participating organizations will receive support to improve institutional systems, financial management, organizational resilience, leadership, and long-term sustainability.
3. Greater Access to Knowledge, Networks and Resources
THRIVE will expand access to practical tools, learning opportunities, regional partnerships, and professional networks that enable civil society organizations to increase their impact and influence.
