Applications are open for the One Health Fellowship 2026. The One Health Fellowship is a fully funded, nine-month leadership and professional development program for early-career One Health professionals and junior faculty from Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, and Rwanda.
The Fellowship promotes mutual learning, strengthens One Health leadership, and builds sustainable partnerships between African institutions and partners in the United States through applied training, placements, and follow-on projects.
Benefits

- Complete a One Health Leadership and Advocacy (OHLA) training
- Undertake a four-week applied One Health placement
- Attend an international One Health conference
- Design and implement a Fellow-led follow-on project in your home country
- Join a growing regional and global One Health alumni network
Eligibility
- You are a citizen and/or current resident of Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, or Rwanda;
- You are a recent graduate, early-career professional, or junior faculty member;
- You work in a one health-related field;
- Have at least two years of relevant experience or are currently employed;
- You are fluent in English;
- You are actively engaged in addressing public health or One Health challenges.

- Completed One Health Fellowship Application Form
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Résumé
- Supervisor Endorsement (if applicable)
- If you are currently employed, your current supervisor (employer) must complete and sign the supervisor section within the application form
- A separate letter is not required
- If you are not currently employed, you may leave this section blank
