Are you 16–26 years-old and passionate about tackling climate change? The Eco Champions Programme 2026 is for you! They support passionate young people with great ideas and a commitment to climate action for challenging backgrounds to become their strongest selves.
Eco Champions Germany supports young people in implementing their own climate and sustainability projects as part of a 1.5-year program. During the program, you will receive training, mentoring and financial support to make your idea a reality. In addition, there is the opportunity for the Eco Champions to cooperate with various companies from the network.
Another key part of the programme is international exchange and collaboration. You will connect with other young changemakers from different countries, share experiences, learn from diverse perspectives, and build lasting networks across regions. The journey kicks off with the Eco Champions Global Summit in Nigeria from September 21st–27th, where you’ll meet and collaborate with Eco Champions from the other countries.

Eligibility
- You are 16-26 years old, living in Germany.
- You can communicate in English.
- You have an idea, an ongoing climate protection project or would like to get involved in climate policy.
- You can spend 5-10 hours per month on the program for the next 1.5 years or so.
- You can participate in the global networking meeting September 20-27 in Nigeria.
