D-Prize 2026 for Early-stage Entrepreneurs (up to $20,000)

Deadline: May 17, 2026

Applications for the D-Prize 2026 for Early-stage Entrepreneurs are now open. D-Prize is a global seed funding program that supports early-stage entrepreneurs building ventures to distribute proven, evidence-based solutions to reduce poverty. It offers up to $20,000 in funding (average ~$16,000) to help founders launch scalable social impact organizations. The program focuses on implementation and distribution of existing solutions rather than developing new or untested products.

Grant

  • All winners will be awarded up to $20,000. The award is offered in the form of a convertible grant.

Eligibility

Most awardees are first-time entrepreneurs who have not yet launched or raised outside funding.

  • They especially encourage applicants from low- and middle-income countries.
  • Organisations with more than 18 months of full-time operations or more than $30,000 USD raised typically not supported.
  • Existing organizations are considered only if your core focus is distributing an existing, evidence-based poverty intervention.
