Applications are open for the AGYLE Program 2026. The AGYLE (African German Young Leaders in Business) is a programme that has been connecting young leaders from selected African and European countries in a long-term business network since 2021. Through direct exchange and collaboration, the programme strengthens African–European dialogue and supports the development of sustainable economic partnerships.
Each year, an international jury selects outstanding young leaders to take part in the AGYLE Live Week in Berlin. During the programme, participants exchange on annually changing topics, further develop innovative and sustainable ideas, and establish African–European collaborations. Previous annual topics included circular economy, digitalisation, green innovation and sustainable urban development. In 2026, the programme will focus on GreenTech.
AGYLE 2026 brings together a diverse group of young leaders and entrepreneurs who see technological innovation as a powerful lever for sustainable transformation. The programme creates space for exchange, joint learning, and strategic development, with the aim of rethinking responsible growth and fair value creation across regions.
Within this context, AGYLE explores key questions such as: How can technological innovation effectively address current and future environmental and societal challenges? How can companies measure environmental impact while achieving sustainable economic growth? And which skills, partnerships, and enabling conditions empower young leaders to drive lasting, sustainable transformation?

Eligibility
You are a perfect fit for AGYLE, if
- You are no older than 40 years of age;
- You have at least 3 years of executive experience or started your own business;
- You come from or have worked for at least 5 years in Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Rwanda, Senegal, Tunisia, Germany, or Austria;
- You are committed to creating a sustainable future;
- You would like to become part of the AGYLE Alumni Network and play an active role.
