Main Responsibilities
The Project Analyst will work under the supervision of the Chief of Section, Operations, supporting the efficient delivery of IEO programmes and operational activities.
Key responsibilities include:
Operational and Financial Support
The successful candidate will:
- Support operational processes in compliance with UNDP rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Assist with implementation of the Internal Control Framework.
- Coordinate with finance teams and service clusters to ensure timely payment processing.
- Support preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with invoice processing and payment monitoring.
- Update financial tracking tools and payment distribution records.
- Support travel-related administrative processes.
- Contribute to efficient execution of evaluation activities.
Regional Operations Support
The Project Analyst will contribute to regional operational activities by:
- Supporting financial planning and budget development.
- Assisting with monitoring regional budgets.
- Supporting budget processes within UNDP’s Quantum enterprise resource planning system.
- Reviewing purchase order and non-purchase order invoice issues.
- Preparing financial reports and presentations.
Support to the UN Evaluation Group Secretariat
The role will also involve supporting the UNEG Secretariat through:
- Managing operational requests from UNEG working groups.
- Coordinating procurement and human resource requests.
- Monitoring UNEG budgets and reporting financial updates.
- Supporting payment processing.
- Assisting travel arrangements for UNEG activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline may also be considered if they have at least two years of qualifying professional experience.
