Applications to be a trainer for Ashoka Arab World are now open. Ashoka Arab World is building a pool of experienced trainers and facilitators to support current and upcoming programs focused on youth empowerment, social entrepreneurship, and changemaking across the Arab region.
Ashoka is a global organization that works to advance an “Everyone a Changemaker” world, where individuals are empowered with the skills, mindset, and support needed to drive positive social change. Across the Arab region, Ashoka supports social entrepreneurs, youth, and ecosystem builders to develop innovative, sustainable solutions to pressing social challenges.
About Ashoka Arab World
Since 2003, Ashoka Arab World has pioneered and been the platform for social entrepreneurship across the Arab region, identifying and electing the region’s leading social entrepreneurs across 12 countries. From establishing the first terminology for social entrepreneurship in Arabic to hosting the first international summits on social entrepreneurship in the Arab world and serving on the boards of emerging local and regional organizations with social entrepreneurship-oriented programs, Ashoka Arab World has paved the way for a formal and flourishing social entrepreneurship sector in the region.
Eligibility
- They are particularly looking to engage trainers with diverse areas of expertise, including but not limited to: entrepreneurship and business development, finance, legal frameworks, marketing and branding, digital skills, leadership, innovation, and social impact.
- They strongly encourage applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, including those working in underserved communities and contexts across the region.
